This is almost identical to the old one. I'm not sure why there are two extra plastic "ears" on it, but they didn't affect installation or performance. You can see the crack that developed in my old one in the picture. It had been progressing from a small crack to an actual gap over the past few years and finally started letting large particles through. I swear the pump is circulating more effectively now which I'm not sure why or if that is in my head. The other picture is the label on my filter. Unfortunately you can't really read anything on it anymore, but thought it might be helpful to others trying to figure out if this part would help them. The SQFT of my filter is 60.Installation was extremely easy as the part directly swapped out during a regular filter cleaning. Make sure to put the small tube into the top of the part before you install as it takes a lot of force to push it in.
