Been having a thumping sound on acceleration for a while. Though it was my slip yolk so I wasn’t worried too much since joints felt good. Well it turned out not to be ujoints.Bought AC delco motor mount after finally finding it was bad mount. I also had a squeak but never add the two together. One day I open the hood held the brake put it in gear hit the gas. That is when I seen the motor jump up. Knew it was for sure the fed over side mount.Placed my order for the AC delco. Then hit you tube. Make sure you do have a 15mm and swivel or wobble end, also a few extensions. I did the job with in a couple hours. My truck feel like new. Thumping and rough idle are gone. I’m ready for another 200k now. Best part wife’s happy now.
